The backing is green velvet to which I embellished some chiffon and yarns on it.Then I used a piece of Tyvek, Painted and stitched it, then heated with an iron.
Hand stitched it on the PC and added some beads. Love Tyvek.

Love what you're doing with the Tyvek. Isn't it a great medium to work with!! Lumiere paint works nicely on it - perhaps that's what you've used here?
love the colours of this piece. I agree about tyvek I particularly like the way you can burn holes exactly where you want with a slodering iron!! I tried pulling it the other day while still hot, gave some great stringy shapes but asbestos fingers would help!!
